Episode 44 Review

***Spoiler Alert***

This episode explored the fact that both Brutus and Tori have completely different outlooks on life. In fact, I realized that I have given Tori and Brutus very little time to “bond.” Originally this episode was to be a small fight followed a duel, but as I planned more, I decided it would be both more interesting and mean more to the characters if they had to overcome manipulation by the Disciples of Darkness.

Advent of Chaos

Time for the final booster pack from Season 1

Name: Advent of Chaos

Abbreviation: AVCS

Cover card: Chaos-Tech Imperial Dragon – Emissary of Destruction and Chaos-Tech Shining Soldier – Emissary of Creation

Contains cards from episodes: 18-23

Introduces the following archetypes: Dragon of Subjugation and Chaos-Tech

Also contains cards from the following archetypes: Cyber-Tech and Chaos

Contains cards used by: Yuni Oha, Brutus Marc, Katsu Tatsu, and Apophis.

Just a note on this pack, I know it is strange to have two cover cards on a main stream booster pack, but I felt that I couldn’t put one on, without the other. It is the fundamental theory of Chaos after all. Also, this pack fits the theme made by Invasion of Chaos, Crossroads of Chaos, and Order of Chaos, all of which are called ______ of Chaos.

Until next time, duel on!

Episode 43 Review

***Spoiler Alert***

Episodes 42 and 43 displayed a factor that I enjoy using in many two part episode. The first was a story filled, slightly emotional episode, while the second was an action-packed duel. While it might seem like this episode did little story-wise, it actually had a large impact that will come in at season 3. Seto’s talk with Quantus at the end of the episode does show a new aspect of Seto. Despite the fact he a verbally says that he thinks all of these visions and other mystic things are the result of him going crazy, the fact that he listened to Quantus says that maybe, at subconsciously, Seto wants to believe everything that is happening is real.
